Real-Time Fault Detection and Notification
- When a fault is detected, LinkTap sends real-time notifications to your phone/tablet and emails to your registered address plus two others (e.g., neighbors or friends).
- If you can’t respond, they can assist. For pipe leaks, the system can automatically shut off the water if unusually high flow is detected.
Rain Skip Saves You Water and Time
- Rain Skip checks local weather just before a watering cycle starts. If the rainfall meets the set threshold (past and forecasted rain over 6 to 72 hours), it skips the cycle.
- Unlike traditional sensors that act after rain, Rain Skip saves water by skipping schedules before it rains. Best of all, it’s free!
Temperature-Controlled Watering Takes Better Care of Your Garden

Receive Push Notifications in Real Time
Real-time push notifications and/or emails will be sent to your phone / tablet when one of the following events occurs:
- Water timer fell off the faucet #
- TapLinker does not shut off water flow properly
- TapLinker does not open the water flow properly
- Mains water is cut off
- Water flow rate exceeds a user-defined threshold
- Water flow rate drops below a user-defined threshold
- A programmed or manual watering cycle starts
- A programmed or manual watering cycle finishes
- A watering cycle is skipped due to Rain Skip takes effect
- Manual On/Off button is pressed
- Gateway went offline
- TapLinker went offline
- Battery level drops below certain thresholds
- A freezing temperature is approaching
